- Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Brock University
- Graduate Certificate with Honours in Web Design from Sheridan College
- Ran her own freelance web design business, recognized by her local Readers' Choice Awards as "Best graphic/web designer" and "Best web services/design"
Outside work
- Lived experience with mental illness has shown her how important it is to enjoy life, do what she loves to do, and help others
- Loves to play board games and hula hoop
- Though she can be more quiet and reserved, after she opens up, she shows people her quirky personality
