We’re excited to announce that two of our members will be speaking at the Drupal North conference this summer in Ottawa, Canada. Drupal North is a free, three-day conference focusing on Drupal-related topics and the community that drives the Drupal Project. If you’re attending, you’re in for a ton of great sessions.

Kalamuna CEO Andrew Mallis, an Ontario native himself, will share insights and facilitate discussions about running a Drupal shop in his session, Agency Life. What does running or working at an agency mean today, and what will it mean tomorrow? What is the future of work and our field, and how can we adapt to change, while simultaneously creating change? Attend and chew on these and other burning existential questions.

Getting into some nitty-gritty, front-end developer Josh Walker will present Design-driven Development: Prototyping FTW. Josh will highlight the benefits of using a static site prototype and the features of our static site building toolkit, Kalastatic. He’ll also lead a broader discussion about how the brave new world of design-driven development is changing how we work—and the work itself.

The sessions will take place between August 25-27th at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre. For more info and TBD session locations, look here.
